Julie spent the first thirty-plus years of her life with a lot of energy that had nowhere to go. Running and gym hopping would take her to a great place, but she was always left with a void; something wasn’t connecting. It wasn’t until her first meeting with her mat that she knew where her disconnect was. At the risk of being cliché, the rest is history. Yoga has taken the wheel for Julie and channeled her energy into the aspects of her life where she needed it most.
Julie spends her days as an elementary school teacher and her nights and weekends as a yoga teacher. Woven into those minutes, she is also a wife and mom to two awesome kids. She came out of college as a graphic designer and spent five years in the corporate world before making the switch to education. Although she loved her time there and met some amazing people, she needed to remove herself from being in a desk chair for the majority of the day.
Julie received her 200 RYT through Theresa Wilson Yoga in Plainfield, IL. The experience, which she considers one of the best of her life, left her eager to channel her energy into her vinyasa-style classes. During Julie’s class, you will get a challenging flow balanced with time spent on crucial stretching and strengthening that will leave you feeling powerful throughout your day.
